Concept: This design is about two things - movement and rhythm, established by the focus of the mask, its soft, curved lines set against the boxy totality, the stark monochromatic contrast, the ticker-style chops on the main title, the extreme ink-traps of the fresh, modern, timeless, sturdy, realist typeface, and the sporadic yet orderly use of the three colours of a character wheel. The overall feel is succintly mime yet not overdone - all in the spirit of expressing ideas without the use of speech.

In this remarkable compilation are the unique experiences of the author who was privileged to have been placed at a unique time in history and with preordained opportunities to meet, engage, learn, apply and celebrate with personalities whose lives and careers left their footprints on a unique subject of mime and pantomime. Memoirs on Mime for All Time: The Emergence of Physical Theatre in the 21st Century is a culmination of nearly fifty years of experiences with mimes, actors, clowns and dancers all of which have direct influence on the current activity known as Physical Theatre. This book is a documentation of that history, a text book summary of techniques consolidated and a collection of photographs of historical significance to this age.
